Adv. Anisul Haque, a man of high character, moral and reliable social activists, is an accomplished advocate with over two decades of experience, practicing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, and statutory tribunals including DRT, DRAT and CAT. He is widely recognized for his expertise in banking law, recovery proceedings, industrial disputes and institutional litigations. Adv. Haque is an elected Director of the Bombay Mercantile Cooperative Bank Ltd., having held this post for multiple terms since 2012, including a term as Protem Chairman in 2019.

Empanelled with leading institutions including the Haj Committee of India (a Statutory Body of Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India), Punjab & Sind Bank (A Government of India Undertaking), Aditya Birla Finance Ltd., Indostar Capital Finance Ltd., and Shivalik Small Finance Bank, Adv. Haque has led high-stakes litigation, conducted numerous domestic inquiries as an appointed Inquiry Officer and also appointed as an amicus curiae by the CBI Court. His early service as Government Pleader to defend the interest of the Central Government in the Delhi High Court, is being performed by Adv. Haque well with utmost integrity and his advisory role on executive committees within the cooperative banking sector, reflects his in-depth knowledge in both law and governance. Adv. Haque holds degrees in B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M, and brings to his practice a unique blend of academic foundation and field-tested legal strategy. A lifelong member of several academic and cultural institutions including the India Islamic Cultural Center, Press Club of India, Baramati Club, Netaji Subhash Sports Club (New Delhi) and Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association, he remains deeply connected to the legal and academic communities.
